Windows 10 soon with 3D and supplemented reality

Microsoft will release in 2017 upgrade to Windows 10 that supports Windows Holographic shell and accompanying applications supplemented reality, said vice president of the company, Terry Myerson Developer Conference Intel IDF.

Support Windows Holographic means that every user of Windows 10 will be able to take advantage of technology complemented reality in the presence of VR helmet and technical capabilities of the computer. In other words, the technology will become mass.

In February this year, Microsoft launched the helm of reality HoloLens supplemented at a cost of $ 3,000. To make equipment cheaper, the company asked Intel to provide its partners the opportunity to produce devices from different price categories.

At the end of the year Microsoft plans to release the first version of the specification for manufacturers, which will allow them to create compatible devices supplemented reality. The company has already released a video that demonstrates Shell Windows Holographic.

HoloLens does represent autonomous computer that hopes of the head and displayed on the built-in display image to complement reality. The user is not required to use a controller or markers - the device only recognizes the parts of the body and the surrounding environment.

With Windows Holographic, developers can create applications for such devices. Announcing its support, Microsoft emphasized that it wants to impose technology on the consumer market, along with her professional applications.
