It is now the second most common among smartphones with Windows. The share of Windows Mobile 10 starts increasing steadily among mobile operating systems of Microsoft, according to the company's contextual advertising AdDuplex.
The study shows that currently 10 Windows Mobile is installed on 14% of all active smartphones under the control of Microsoft, while in July, its share was 11.9 percent.
Analysts explain growth on Windows 10 Mobile with the purchase of new smartphones, rather than to renovate already existing models in use.
10 Windows Mobile is still not the most popular mobile platform Microsoft - it inferior to Windows Phone 8.1, which holds 77.3% of smartphones on Windows.
Noticeable presence still have Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7 with shares of 6.7% and 1.9% from Windows devices.
The most popular smartphone operating system from Microsoft are budget models Lumia 535, which has a share of 12,3%, Lumia 520 and Lumia 640.
